One with 1100 rods, the other using Carillo. Aside from the increased stroke it allows us to use hy-vo primary & cam chains We use GL1000 clutches. At the moment our little motor uses RC45 pistons, while the big motor runs XR250 pistons. We currently run Kehin 31mm CR carbs using methanol on both motors, but hope to try a set of Webbers on the big motor shortly. We can't use off the shelf exhausts so we fabricate our own using a formula devised by Phil Irving back in the 1950's. If I can help with any more detail pm or email me. Posts: 188 11/23/10 01:42:26	The coated clutch plates were first tested on a BIG thump-er dirt bike racer. He would go through a set of clutch plates every weekend . ( did not matter what brand ) Out of desperation....................... he tried the coated clutch plates and never had another problem since. As far as we know.................. he might be running the same friction plates to this day ( have not heard from him in a while) True story
